Swifts and hummingbirds

Hummingbirds are among the smallest birds in the world, being exclusive to the American continent, where 323 species live. Its weight varies between 1.5 and 20 grams and its diet is based on insects and the nectar found in flowers. The flapping of its wings, the fastest among birds, can exceed 5,000 times per minute.

Swifts are very good flying birds, with very long wings and small legs, but with strong fingers that allow them to cling vertically to the rocky walls where they usually spend the night. Almost all their activities are carried out in the air: they feed, drink, sleep and reproduce in flight.
