Ducks

Ducks are birds belonging to the Order Anseriformes which are adapted to live in aquatic environments. Some of the adaptations which stand out are their flat beak equipped with lamellae, with which they filter their food (composed of algae, seeds, and aquatic invertebrates), and their webbed feet. They are gregarious animals, sometimes forming flocks of thousands of individuals, and are some of the sport hunters’ preferred catch.
