The Province of Córdoba has so far recorded a total of 51 fish species, the most abundant being Mojarras, Dentudos and Catfishes. There are also 5 introduced species, among which are the Common Carp, the Argentinian Silverside and the Trout, which are mainly used for consumption and sport fishing.
